Thinning
Tree thinning is a common pruning practice where we selectively remove internal growth to reduce density and allow more sunlight to filter through. Thinning also reduces the weight of the branches and increases air flow, promoting better tree health.
Dead wooding
Sometimes trees no longer have use for certain branches and they die. When this occurs, they may become dangerous or create a mess in your yard. We can cut these limbs away carefully, leaving you with a healthy, hazard-free tree.
Branch removal
Overhanging branches are not only unattractive, but can also become a dangerous hazard to you, your home or garden. If a branch is hanging over your roof, carport, green house or lawn, we can remove it back to the original growth or the trunk using arboricultural practices.
Reduction
When trees outgrow their space, we cut the branches back to the original growth. This creates a smaller tree, but with a better shape. Tree reduction can also help you reduce a neighbour’s tree back to boundary.
Lifting
Tree lifting is a commonly used pruning method where we remove the lower branches to raise the tree’s canopy. This is particularly useful where mobility around the trunk is needed or in cases when low branches might obstruct your view. Lifting should be done when a tree is young to avoid lower branches growing too large.
